Medical Massage Therapy
Unlike a typical spa massage, medical massage is condition specific and outcome driven. Conditions commonly treated with medical massage include headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, sports injuries, low back pain, myofascial pain, muscle tension and stress. Studies also show how massage therapy can lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular function. Regular medical massage therapy can speed the healing process, improve your quality of life and enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.
Post Car Accident Massage Therapy
If you’ve been injured in a car accident, massage therapy can play a very important role in your recovery. In combination with medically appropriate chiropractic care, massage therapy can be incorporated into your treatment plan. This coordinated care approach is covered by most auto insurance carriers. If massage therapy is medically necessary, we will submit your claims as well as provide documentation of treatment to your auto insurance company.
Prenatal massage can help to alleviate the discomforts associated with being pregnant. From headaches, neck and shoulder pain to back tightness and swollen ankles, prenatal massage is a natural and effective way to feel your best during pregnancy. Massage also can improve circulation, decrease nervous tension, improve sleep and help restore balance to the body. Our massage table specially accommodates to the changes that come with pregnancy and enables a woman to lie face down while being fully supported. You can also rest assured that our experienced therapist is well-trained in the art and science of prenatal massage.
Please note: out of an abundance of caution, we do not treat women who are in their first trimester of pregnancy.
